The drawing of lots of the European Women’s Chess Championship 2024 was held today in Rhodes, Greece. In the presence of the Chief Arbiter Aleksandra Dimitrijevic, former World Chess Champion Antoaneta Stefanova picked a Black pawn.
This means that the top-seeded player in the tournament will play as Black on the first board.
The Technical meeting is scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00 (local time). Pairings for the first round will be published after 10:00 (local time).
